Just over the border to North Carolina this winery is within easy driving distance from your oceanfront vacation rental. Opened in 2002, Silver Coast is the finest winery in Brunswick County. Silver Coast wines are modeled after the classic, traditional wines of Europe. All wines use regional grapes and are produced on-site.
This is an easy stop down highway 90 on your way back to your oceanfront vacation rental from Silver Coast Winery. This is an operating vineyard that is open to the public all year around. Their gift shop has a variety of unique gifts for everyone on your holiday list. Many weekends you will find a music festival happening celebrating the great oldies of the past, jazz or blue grass just to name a few. This is a must visit for any wine lover.
After a visit to La Belle Amie you can swing back to North Myrtle Beach and stop by the tasting room of Carolina Vineyards Winery in Barefoot Landing on Business 17 North. They are also a working winery that produces wine from many of the fruits grown around the state. Their tasting room is open seven days a week and you can taste seven of their great wines for $4 and take home a logo wine glass.
Slightly off the beaten path in Tabor City this is a fun place to visit. Wine tastings are each day from 1 – 6 pm except Sundays. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a chilled bottle of wine and a lazy afternoon. The fall season is a great time to visit and relax in the cool afternoon breeze.
